THE MUSEUM OF EVERYTHING // KUNSTHAL ROTTERDAM
from 5th March to 22nd May 2016

The Museum of Everything is the world’s first and only wandering space for the untrained, unintentional, undiscovered and unclassified artists of modern times.

Since 2009 The Museum of Everything has introduced contemporary audiences to alternative art-makers from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. Its acclaimed installations have welcomed over 750,000 visitors and its inclusive philosophies have inspired countless solo and group exhibitions, including the 55th Venice Biennale.

The Kunsthal of Everything was the largest exhibition of non-academic artists ever staged in Holland. It included masterworks by artists like Henry Darger, Guo Fengyi and Martín Ramírez, important Dutch authors like Willem van Genk, as well as lesser known accumulations by private art-makers from across Europe, America and beyond.

Accompanying the artworks were easy-to-read essays by cultural luminaries like David Byrne, Maurizio Cattelan, Marlene Dumas, Annette Messager, Grayson Perry, Ed Ruscha and many more.
